Alysha is a recent Colorado transplant who now calls Houston home. She shares her life with her cat, Veda, dog, Hitchens, and firefighter husband, Michael. Alysha is passionate about all things "green and clean" and is always on the lookout for innovative, natural products. Her lifelong obsession with hair runs in the family, hailing from a lineage of hairstylists, spending many summer days growing up helping in the backroom of salons. With over a decade of experience in the hair industry, Alysha has become a specialist in blonding and extensions, though her skills span all aspects of hair. Lesley, a born and raised Texan, has always had a passion for style and fashion. At the young age of 19, Lesley’s dream of becoming a hair stylist quickly became a reality. Lesley dedicated the first decade of her career to working at renowned Aveda Salons in Texas, Louisiana, and Chicago before finding herself in Houston. She spent 5 years working as one of the top stylists at an Aveda salon in Houston, which is where she met Alysha. It was there where their joint love of traveling for education, beauty and fashion trends, and their friendship that led them to open Forward. Salon. Now at the beautiful Forward. Abigail Hughes grew up outside of Houston with her beloved dog, Pepper, and three siblings, who are her best friends and willing participants in her hair experiments. Homeschooled by her supportive parents, she has always had a nurturing and close-knit family environment. Abigail has been a hairstylist for four years, but her passion for hair began when she was just 13. She was determined to follow her unique path and found her calling in combining her love for hair with caring for others. She enrolled in cosmetology school immediately after high school and has been dedicated to her craft ever since. Abigail's expertise includes a wide range of services, from quick root touch-ups to extensive color corrections and extensions. She also enjoys the creative challenge of working with fun and bold colors whenever she gets the chance.

Gavin Valentine- Forward Stylist in Training

Gavin Valentine is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Texas in 2021 and has loved the heat ever since. Gavin is known for his semi-outgoing nature and his ability to bring humor to any conversation and shares a close bond with his two siblings. As a Colorado native and metalhead, he has an artistic side, enjoying painting and sculpting. Coming from a family with a history in the hair business, Gavin loves coloring hair and aims to become a natural color stylist. He also enjoys photography.

With over a year of hairstyling training, Amy is strategic and open to fun and creative hair projects. She's currently working on becoming a curly hair specialist. Amy's passion for hairstyling began at a young age, doing her siblings' hair and discovering a love for creativity.
